Privacy Policy

Overview

Burda ("the app") is published by Reehu Tyba. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used. Burda is built to work with as little data as possible — there are no user accounts, no sign-in, and no personal information required to use any feature of the app.

Information We Collect

Burda does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information. Specifically:

Microphone Permission

Burda requests microphone permission solely to manage the device's audio session during Qasidah playback — for example, correctly switching audio output between the speaker and Bluetooth or AirPods. The app does not record, access, or transmit any microphone audio.

Third-Party Services

The app uses Firebase (a service provided by Google) for push notifications. Firebase may process minimal technical data (such as a device messaging token) as part of delivering notifications. We do not share any data with advertisers, and the app contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

Children's Privacy

Burda does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Since the app requires no account creation and stores no personal data, it can be used safely by users of any age under a parent or guardian's discretion.

Data Retention

Because Burda does not collect personal data, there is no user data for us to retain or delete. Your display preferences remain on your device until you change them or uninstall the app.

Your Rights

You may disable push notifications at any time through your device's system settings. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored preferences.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
